Entertainment: Tyra Banks gets more and more annoying

I didn’t think it was possible, but Tyra Banks is getting more and more annoying. I am surprised “The Soup” on E! never got a hold of this doozie.

Politics: Is it November yet?

The onslaught of snail mail and campaign phone calls has been increasing more and more the last few weeks. I hang up on the automated messages that call our house and the flyers that come in the mail go straight into the trash. Am I a bad member of society? Here in Michigan the Governor position is up for election – we either reelect Jennifer Granholm or elect Dick “Mr. Amway” DeVos (or, Double-D as I like to call him). Since Amway is big into cleaning products, I would have figured his campaign slogan to be something like, “We’ll clean up Michigan just like we clean your floors.”

Tech: Lexus LS series parks itself.

So, Lexus announced that their new LS series will park itself. I am pretty sure the “LS” stands for “Lazy Sh*t.”

Sports: Michigan sports – Sat, 10/14/06

Well, today has been an interesting day in sports for Michigan teams.

Redwings – Lose in shoot out.

Michigan State Spartans Football – get their butts kicked.

U of Michigan Football – They beat Penn State. 6-0 record!

Detroit Tigers – They are going to the World Series!

Entertainment: ‘Flintstones’ artist Ed Benedict dies

Ed Benedict died back on 8/28, but the news is just hitting now. He is the cartoonist who brought us the Flinstones (among other lovable cartoon characters).

Books: iWoz has arrived!

My box from Amazon arrived today with the two books I ordered. One is the iWoz book that I mentioned in a previous post. So, I am going to be incognito the next few days most likely as I try and plow through this.

Plus, I have a big race coming up at the end of the month that I’ve been getting ready for, hence the lack of daily posts. But, does anyone read my blog anyways? *sound of crickets* LOL!
