Woke up this morning, flipped on the TV, and it happed to be on TNT. Today must be sappy movie day on TNT because first they played The Ron Clark Movie (first time I’ve seen it. Good flick! Matthew Perry was quite good), then Mr. Holland’s Opus (seen it a couple times already but another great flick) , and then The Legend of Bagger Vance (another good flick).
As you can tell, 3 movies means I didn’t get much done today.
I did manage to sneak out to CompUSA during Bagger Vance to see what they had on sale. Found a power strip that the sign on the shelf said 40% off but when they rang it up it was only 20% off. I didn’t really feel like dealing with showing them it was marked at 40% off so I decided to just forgo the purchase. My wallet is happy!

We have had 80+ degree weather for the last week (almost to the point we were going to turn on the central A/C). However, as I have lived here for 10+ years, so this really should not be a surprise, here is our weather forcast for this week:

Was channel surfing tonight and came across the very first Cold Case episode I ever saw (“Sleepover” – released in 2004) and what got me hooked on the show. I first saw it sometime last year (2006). ‘Cold Case’ is not a show we Tivo, but whenever I have come across episodes while flipping channels I have enjoyed all the ones I have watched. However, I have to say this particular episode is one of the best episodes I’ve seen of the series so it is lucky it was the first one I saw.
It also got me to buy Edie Brickell’s “Circle Of Friends” song off of iTunes.
