News alert that just popped up:
“The cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah will start at 5 a.m. GMT on Monday [8/14], U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan says.”
So, why can’t the cease fire start now? I mean, they might as well have said that the cease fire will start at 5:04:32 a.m. GMT. Does this mean that they’ll bomb the crap out of each other until 5:00a GMT?
Well, we received voicemail on our sales line from some automated system touting Jeb Bush to run for the presidency in 2008. I find that very amusing because last year I had mentioned to some friends and co-workers that I would bet money that Jeb Bush will be running. They didn’t believe me. Too bad they didn’t take my bet.
Of course, my other comment was that he would only get 2% of the popular vote, but for “some” reason, he would be elected President. But, hey, I may win that one also.
If he wins, I’m moving out of the country, that is for sure.
